Close to the middle of the mix, Flux descends into a moombahton medley, dropping Feed Me’s “One Click Headshot”, an unreleased collaboration from Datsik and Diplo, as well as the forthcoming Dillon Francis remix to Flux’s own “Daydreamer”. But who am I kidding, the whole damn mix is absolutely stunning. Some of my favorites from the tremendous track list include Brown and Gammon’s remix of “Jurassic”, the Funtcase remix of “Hot Pursuit”, and Trolley Snatcha’s “Make My Whole World”. The mix is a tour de force of cleanly mixed, delightful, at times destructive and daunting, dubstep. As Steele himself states, the mix is a bit of a history lesson in the dynamic offerings of Circus Records, though it jumps around to a multitude of genres. The renown BBC Essential Mix added one more superstar to its legendary ranks last night, and he goes by the name of Flux Pavilion. It’s the prestigious chance to construct an immaculate, 2 hour set of your finest taste in music. It is also a sound that some side compression does well with to add an extra touch of fatness.It’s a hallmark of every great producer.

They are all free and very popular, so they are also easily found! If you really want to add your own flavor to this, try using a filter, some noise and perhaps even some multiband distortion. If you do not have these particular plugins, do not fret.
The vibrato is a key element to the motion of the bass sound, as well as a few plugins he mentions quickly at the end of the video. Top it all off with a parabolic shaper and hard clipper and you get a serious edge added.
A tube amp and dimension expander will pump up and widen the over sound for you, along with a touch of pitch cutoff in the voicing tab. With only two oscillators working to make the main part of the sound, some phasing is introduce through a modulation osciallator to begin shaping the sound. This sound has so much character and interesting points to emphasize through modulating parameters, that it has almost endless possibilities as far as what it can do for adding a little funk and sizzle to your productions. Having an instrument with this much flexibility is worth the attention to detail!
